Akito는 언더그라운드 프로듀서이자 DJ로 몸을 움직이는 일렉트로닉 클럽 뮤직에 있어 타협하지 않는 모습을 보여줬다.

그는 런던 베이스의 단체이자 파티 브랜드인 Sub Skank의 창립 멤버로 큰 극찬을 받은 바 있는 그의 “Metamessage” 앨범을 여기서 발매하였다. 이 EP는 그라임에서 영향받은 베이스가 실린 하우스로 사람들의 관심이 집중시켰으며, 새로 커가는 씬의 지도에 등장하게 되었다.

Murlo, Famous Eno 그리고 Vjuan Allure, 그 다음으로 ‘Dalston Dips’가 참여한 리믹스 EP는 클럽에서의 인기를 매우 고대하게 만들었다.

그의 세련된 셀렉션과 대담한 믹싱은 런던의 주목할 만한 방송들인 Rinse FM와 NTS, 그리고 한달에 한 번 Radar Radio에서 Sub Skank 팀과의 쇼의 게스트 지위라는 결과를 안겨주었다.

그의 최근 EP ‘Pleasure Pending’는 Tight Knit에서 공개되어 Akito의 트레이드 마크인 파괴된 비트 그라임 스타일을 더욱 공고히 했다.

Akito is an underground producer and DJ with an uncompromising take on rib-rattling electronic club music. Drawing from global influences, his upfront London-twist has propelled him across the UK club scene.

He is a founding member of London-based label, collective and party brand Sub Skank; from which he released his highly acclaimed ‘Metamessage” EP, a grime influenced, bass-laden house cut that really caught peoples attention and put him on the map within a burgeoning scene.

The remix EP featured Murlo, Famous Eno and Vjuan Allure and the following ‘Dalston Dips’ was a highly anticipated club smash.

Akito’s refined selections and mixing prowess have earned him guest slots on high-profile London stations Rinse FM and NTS, and a monthly show with the Sub Skank collective on Radar Radio.
