CHARLOTTE DE WITTE – FAUST
February 3, 2017

“I love the darkness you find in electronic music,” says Witte, who grew up with Belgium’s rich history of electronic music, and found herself drawn towards electro and techno in her teens, finally captivated by the hypnotic sounds that she heard so often in the clubs around Ghent. By the time she was 17, she had already made her debut in her hometown, and since then she has gone on to share the stage with so many other artists at festivals such as Pukkelpop, I Love Techno Europe, Dour Festival and Tomorrowland.
Some of you might have heard of Raving George, a moniker she used previously, before making her debut release with the ‘Weltschmerz EP’ as Charlotte de Witte on Tiga’s Turbo Recordings.
With many exciting releases lined up, an ongoing radio show on Belgium’s leading radio station, a residency at Fuse, and a packed tour diary, Charlotte de Witte shows sign of slowing down. Despite her love for all things dark, her future looks very bright indeed.
Most clubs in Korea open at 10 pm and close around 5~6 am
