린지와 수민의 콜라보레이션 전시는, 가장 사실적인 매체인 사진으로 매일매일 일어나고 있는 꿈의 잔상을 담고 있다. 이상주의적이고 낭만적인 꿈에 대한 관심보다는, 이 작품들은 이미 우리 주변에서 일어나고 있는 일들, 사람들, 물건들 그리고 장소의 아름다움을 추구한다.

린지는 서울의 언더그라운드 dj Ligrye 로 알려져있는데, 친구들과 여행을 하고 그 순간들을 담으면서 사진을 찍기 시작했고, 이제는 그의 새로운 창의적인 분출구가 되었다. 뷰파인더 뒤에만 있는 것이 아니라 여러분과 함께 작업들을 나눌 자신이 생겨, 여러분에게 그의 새로운 모험을 통해 무한한 가능성과 그에 대한 아름다움을 선보이고자 한다.

수민은 그녀의 평소 꿈대로 일년의 대부분을 여행하면서, 새로운 사람들을 길에서 만나면서 그들의 이야기를 듣는다. 하지만 이것은 수년간 스스로에 대한 고민과 탐험의 결과에서 나온 결과이며, 지금도 매 순간 셔터를 누르기 직전에 숨을 고를 때 가장 살아있음을 느낀다고 한다. 그녀는 그녀의 사진을 통해 여러분이 현실의 억압에서부터 숨통 트이는 자유를 느꼈으면 한다고 한다.

FREE DREAMING

The collaborative exhibition between Lindsay and Soomin captures dreams in motion in the most realistic medium possible, photography. Rather than focusing on fantasy, these works find beauty in people, objects, and places that already exist around us.

Lindsay, mostly known as the underground dj Ligrye, started taking photographs of fleeting moments with his friends on travels, which later acted as an alternative gateway for his creative desires. Now feeling more confident to step outside of his frames and behind the view finder, he presents to you the unbounded possibilities and beauty he experimented through his newfound creative outlet.

Soomin travels most of the time of the year, meets new people on the street and gets to hear their stories which has always been her dream. However, it was only after years of searching and reflecting on her own behalf that she realised this was her path, and every time she holds a breath to press the shutter, she feels most alive. Through her photography she hopes you will feel that breath of fresh air away from daily realities.
