일본 오키나와 출신의 DJ 이자 프로듀서인 IORI 는 90년대말 오키나와의 나하지역에서 음악활동을 시작했다. 2003년 뉴욕으로 이주하여 활동하였으며, 현재는 일본으로 돌아와 오키나와를 중심으로 일본과 전세계를 무대로 활동하고 있다. Manuel Gottsching, Moritz Von Oswald, 그리고 Basic Channel 과 같은 True Deep House 에서 깊은 영향을 받은 IORI 의 디제잉셋은, House 부터 Techno 까지의 넓은 레인지를 표현할 뿐만 아니라, 자신만의 Alternative deep 셋을 선보이며 독특한 음악세계를 표현하고 있다.
무겁고 바운시한 리듬과 분위기를 압도하는 신스로 표현되는 이오리의 사운드는 이미 유럽의 Techno/House 씬에서 인정받고 있으며, 그동안 발표한 음악들은 Cio D’or, Kirk Degiorgio , Nick Hoppner , Mike Parker , Sigha , Levon Vincent 와 같은 세계적인 DJ들과 DJ NOBU 와 같은 일본의 많은 언더그라운드 DJ들로부터 큰 지지를 얻고있다.

A Dj/producer from Okinawa, Japan. Iori’s musical career started up in Naha, Okinawa in the late 90′s. He went to New York in 2003, and later on headed back to Japan. Taking Okinawa as center, Iori is famed in both Japan and stages around the world at the present. As deeply influenced by True Deep house, Manuel Gottsching, Moritz Von Oswald, and Basic Channel, Iori does not only present sets ranging from House to Techno but is also proficient in alternative deep sets. Characterised by the heavy and bouncy rhythms , grand atmospheric synth layers, He has already established his unique sound in the European techno / house circuit. His past release have fancied by international DJs such as Cio D’or, Kirk Degiorgio , Nick Hoppner , Mike Parker , Sigha , Levon Vincent, and enthusiastically supported by many domestic underground Djs Like DJ NOBU…
