Kastie는 LA를 기반으로 하는 DJ, 프로듀서이자 시카고 하우스의 영향을 받은 UK 언더그라운드 씬의 힙합과 알앤비의 정수만을 걸러낸 새로운 사운드의 고향이라 일컬어 지는 Symbols 레이블의 설립자이다. 지난 6년이 넘는 시간동안 인상적일만큼 지속적인 릴리즈의 목록을 보면 2012년 ‘Stay forever’ EP에서 UK 보컬 개러지와 만난 웨스트 코스트부터, ‘Kastle’에서 ‘Polytopia’에 이르는 그의 소울이 담긴 풀 렝스 앨범들은 확실히 현대적 실험적인 음반임에 분명하다.
전세계를 투어하며 Kastie는 Rinse FM, BBC Radio 1에서 완성된 수준의 셋을 들여주었으며 우리가 가장 좋아하는 개러지와 2 step 믹스들을 만들었음을 알 수 있다.

Kastle is a Los Angeles based DJ, producer and founder of the Symbols label, home to a developing sound filtering hip hop and R&B through UK underground influences with a soulful Chicago house twist. With an impressively steady catalogue of releases over the past six years, from 2012s west coast take on UK vocal garage on the ‘Stay forever’ EP, to his soulful full length ‘Kastle’ to ‘Polytopia’, a distictly modern experimental record.
Across global tours, Kastle has had solid sets on Rinse FM, BBC Radio 1 and has put together some of our favorite garage and 2 step mixes.
