Les Siestes Electroniques 는 2002년 프랑스 툴루즈에서 시작되어 세계 여러 도시에서 열리고 있는 뮤직 페스티벌이다. Les Siestes Electroniques 는 쉽고 자유로운 접근, 야외, 태크놀러지 라는 세가지 키워드 아래에서 보다 폭넓은 관객들이 음악과 공연의 분위기를 통해 삶을 즐기기를 바라며, 그들의 감각에 만족감을 줄 수 있는 다방면의 매혹적인 현대음악 공연을 제안해 오고 있다. 2016년 9월 서울에서 처음 시도되는 Les Siestes Electroniques Seoul 은 프랑스 뮤지션들과 한국 뮤지션들이 함께 어우러져 서울의 밤문화를 상징하는 장소들에서 3일간의 공연을 펼칠 예정이다. 행사의 마지막날인 9월 24일 토요일밤에는 프랑스의 새로운 테크노씬을 상징하는 아티스트인 VOISKI 와 함께, 서울의 테크노 레이블 More than Less 소속의 아티스트들인 Soolee, Scøpe, Hyein이 함께 어우러져 서울의 새로운 언더그라운드 테크노씬을 상징하는 장소인 vurt.에서 테크노 공연들을 펼칠 예정이다. Les Siestes Electroniques Seoul 은 기존의 음악적 지평을 넓히고 음악을 이해하는 또 다른 방식을 발견하여 페스티벌의 관객들과 참가자 모두에게 새롭고 풍부한 문화적 경험을 선물하게 될 것이다.

VOISKI (Dekmantel, L.I.E.S / France)

Voiski는 파리의 새로운 테크노 사운드를 대표하는 DJ/ Producer 이다. 지난 몇년동안 Voiski는 실험적인 프로젝트들과 자신의 시그네이쳐 스타일을 담은 프로듀싱 사이를 오가며, Voiski만의 독특한 테크노 스타일을 완성시켜왔다. Voiski는 그의 넓은 음악적 스펙트럼 속에서, 무제한적이고 반복적인 루프를 고집함으로 유명하다. 과격한 드럼 비트와 합쳐진 사운드는 자극적인 아날로그 사운드를 만들어냈고, 이것은 그의 음악안에서 미래지향적이며 센티멘탈한 지점을 이끌어내었다. 만족할 줄 모르는 프로듀서인 Voiski는 그동안 많은 타이틀들을 프로듀싱했고, Construct-Reform (Paris), Delsin, Delsin (Amsterdam), Wt Records, L.I.E.S (New York) 와 같은 레이블들에서 자신의 앨범들을 릴리즈하고 있다.

For several years, Voiski has struck a singular path in techno music, oscillating between experimental projects and the production of tracks marked by his signature style. Within the large spectrum of his interventions, Voiski stands out for rigor of his infinitely repetitive loops. These, combined with acerbic drum beats, construct an analog excitation that carries his music to the heart of futurist and sentimental layerings. From his proximity to the intriguing electrodance duo Kartei to the experimental label Silicate Musique which he codirects, the amplitude of his activity bears witness to the authenticity of his engagement, one which reconciles the demands of dance floor techno with the construction of an introspective vision.
An insatiable producer, he has already produced several important titles which one can still hear resonating over the world. His work can be found on several labels, including, Construct-Reform (Paris), Delsin (Amsterdam), Wt Records and L.I.E.S. (New York).
