With quality music being its main priority, the event series strives to help develop the local underground scene.

L.Chulho (이철호), John Rosenthal 그리고 Pascal Dior이 서울의 새로운 밤문화가 될 이벤트를 자랑스럽게 소개드립니다, “LOKAL LEGENDEN”.

L.CHULHO
L.CHULHO(이철호)는 어릴적 French Horn을 전공하며 클래식연주활동과 함께 한장의 정규앨범 발매,여러컴필레이션앨범 참여로 한국 언더그라운드 Hip Hop 씬에서도 상당한 영향력을 갖고 활동한다. 그후 프로듀서 집단 Madsoulchild 에 합류하여 여러 대중음악작업을 통해 자신만의 사운드를 연구하게된다. 2002년 도쿄에 위치한 Music School 에서 작/편곡을 공부하며 본격적으로 전자음악에 심취하게된 그는 일본 Underground Techno 씬에서 유일무이 한국인 DJ로 활동했다. 그후 영국페스티벌과 이비자 등지에서 다양한 무대를 접하며 새로운 도전을 준비하게 된다. 2006년 유학생활을 마치고 돌아와 서울의 여러클럽에서 레지던트 DJ로 활동하며 현재까지 끊임없이 그의 열정을 선보이고 있다.

JOHN ROSENTHAL
John Rosenthal, Korean / German, was born and raised in Germany. Being a pianist from the age of 6, and playing the cello from the age of 13, he attended an elite music boarding school near Frankfurt, studying classical music and music theory down to its deepest roots, also attending master classes in Germany and the United Kingdom. In addition to concerts in Finland, Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, he also won several awards for his performances.

John Rosenthal lived in various countries, such as Germany, England and Korea. His passion for electronic music was sparked by early visits to Germany’s legendary festivals such as “Love Parade” and “Winterworld”, and his later discovery of the world-renowned Berlin club scene. This combination of his deep background in classical music and passion for electronic music gives him a very unique perspective on musical trends and developments, allowing him a fresh approach to electronic music.

독일에서 태어난 John Rosenthal (존 로젠탈)는 6세에 피아니스트를 시작으로, 13세에 첼리스트가 되었다. 그는 프랑크푸르트 인근의 엘리트 음악 기숙학교에서 클래식 음악의 이론을 깊이 공부하고 독일과 영국에서는 마스터 클래스를 이수하였다. 핀란드, 독일, 스위스와 영국등 유럽지역에서 공연을 다니며 국제 콩쿨에서 많은 상을 받기도 하였다.

그는 독일에서 열렸던 전설적인 행사인 ‘LoveParade’나 ‘Winterworld’와 같은 페스티벌들을 통해 전자 음악을 접하기 시작했고, 세계적으로 유명한 베를린의 클럽에서 그 곳의 분위기를 즐기며 전자음악에 대한 열정을 키워왔다. 어릴적부터 이어진 음악적 배경과 전자음악에 대한 관심은 그로 하여금 음악적 발전과 함께 독특한 시각을 제공 하였다.

2009년부터는 한국으로 넘어와 프로페셔널 디제이와 모델활동을 시작하고, ‘KBS 개그콘서트’와 같은 TV쇼와 ‘9 Muses’의 뮤직비디오에도 참여하며 대중들에게 얼굴을 알리기 시작했다.

PASCAL DIOR
Pascal Dior, half Korean, half German, was born and grew up in Germany, which is worldwide renowned for its leading electronic music scene and harboring some of the best clubs and parties in the world, such as “Love Parade”, “Mayday”, “Berghain” in Berlin or “Cocoon” in Frankfurt. Pascal resided in various German cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne etc. and played in numerous venues around the world (USA, Germany, Korea, Japan, China, to name but a few). Experiencing the nightlife in those cities which are known for their superb music scenes had a big influence on his perception of nightlife/clubbing and shaped his taste of music. Not liking to be categorized as playing only one single electronic music genre, he describes his preferred music style as refined, elaborate, affectionate, subtly stimulating body music.

After DJing in Germany, he came to Korea in 2007 to explore his half-Korean roots, and there he also carried forward his DJing career. With his European background and experience from various clubs and cities around the world he is very keen on giving the Korean electronic music scene new impulses.
