그동안 국내외 베이스 애딕트들과 언더그라운드 음악씬을 지지하는 많은 사람들의 지대한 관심 속에 준비되었던, 명실공히 한국의 첫 사운드시스템(**)인 Royal Flash P.O.A. Sound System이 작년 10월 런칭이후 긴 동면을 끝내고 부산의 가장 뜨거운 스팟인 중앙동 Beyond Garage에 돌아옵니다.

Saturday, April 19th at Beyond Garage, BASSment : Bass Music in Busan and Royal Flash P.O.A Sound System finally restart their Royal Flash Sound System which is well-known as Korea’s one and only real sound system with great artists and DJs leading Korea’s reggae scene since they unleashed their sound system in Oct 2013. This sound system party would truly rock a dancehall with massive bass in full power and clarity.

자메이카에서 시작되어 영국을 통해 세계로 확산되며 작은 블록 파티부터 대형 사운드 클래쉬, 페스티벌에 이르기까지 댄스뮤직 개더링에 있어 그 문화적 토대가 되었던 사운드시스템 컬쳐를 기반으로 하는 이 새로운 언더그라운드의 움직임에 그동안 국내 레게씬을 오래간 지탱해온 아티스트, DJ, 셀렉터들이 ROYAL FLASH SOUND SYSTEM과 함께 합니다. 국내 사운드시스템/베이스컬쳐의 전환점이 될 이 헤비웨이트 레게 파티에 여러분을 초대합니다.

**사운드시스템이란 자메이카에서 유래된, 야외 댄스 개더링 파티를 위해 D.I.Y.으로 제작된 이동식 스피커를 벽처럼 쌓아 올린 스피커 시스템과 셀렉터(DJ), 디제이(MC), 사운드맨 등의 크루를 함께 의미하는 것으로, 레게, 힙합, 정글 등 다양한 음악에 사용되며 언더그라운드 댄스뮤직 컬쳐의 중심을 이룬다.

Sound system means the big DIY speaker system specialized in bass sound with selectors(DJs), deejays(MCs) and soundman(system operators) for outdoor music parties that began as a way of playing amplified reggae music to outside gatherings in Jamaica.
