베를린 출신의 Discrete Circuit은 시대를 초월한 하우스와 테크노의 에너지를 간직한 디트로이트 소울과 베를린의 창조적 반향에 의해 만들어졌다. 2012년에 듀오로 시작된 Discrete Circuit은 현재에는 Andreas Horn에 의한 원맨 프로젝트로 진행되고 있으며, 그는 자신의 레이블 AWAY를 통해 바이닐 앨범들을 릴리즈하며 베를린을 중심으로 동명의 AWAY 파티를 주최하고 있다. 2015년 초, DVS1의 레이블 Mistress Recordings에서 발매된 VA EP, ‘The Brunette’에 그의 트랙 “Incursion”이 수록되었다. 이 트랙은 그 해의 언더그라운드 히트 트랙 중 하나가 되었고, GROOVE 매거진에서 실시한 ‘Best Track Of The Year’, ‘Newcomer Of The Year’에 선정되기도 하였다. 같은 해 6월, Delsin Records에서 발매된 Discrete Circuit의 첫번째 EP ”Machine Code”는 전세계 테크노 팬들에게 큰 사랑을 받는 앨범이 되었으며, 2016년 초에는 Mark Broom의 레이블 Beard Man에서 Discrete Circuit의 두번째 EP “Redial”이 발매되었다. Discrete Circuit의 등장은 베를린과 디트로이트의 연결에 새로운 힘을 불어넣고 있다.

The musical identity of Berlin’s Discrete Circuit is shaped by the creative vibrancy of Berlin and the soul of Detroit, as well as the energy of house and techno in its most timeless form. Originally started as a duo in 2012, Discrete Circuit is now a one-man project by Andreas Horn, who also runs the emerging AWAY parties in Berlin as well as the newly established vinyl label of the same name. Early 2015, DVS1 releases “Incursion” on ‘The Brunette’, a various artists EP on Mistress Recordings. It ends up to be one of thé underground hits of the year and gets crowned in the GROOVE magazine readers poll (‘Best Track Of The Year’ by the readers n° 7 / by DJ’s n° 10). Discrete Circuits comes also out as second in the category ‘Newcomer Of The Year’. By June that same year Delsin Records re-launch their Inertia sub-arm to release the first full EP by Discrete Circuit “Machine Code”. Textured and atmospheric, this EP is one for late night techno loving warehouse crews around the world. Discrete Circuit keeps the tempo going and early 2016 a second full EP “Redial” is brought to life on Mark Broom his Beard Man stamp. With Discrete Circuit the connection between Berlin & Detroit got a new reinforcement.

SCOPÁVIK은 Scøpe, Pano, Vofrol 세명이 이끌고 있는 크루이며, 여러나라의 실력있는 테크노 아티스트들의 믹스를 소개하는 팟캐스트 시리즈를 운영하고 있다. 꾸준히 좋은 믹스를 업데이트하여 국내뿐 아니라 유럽의 테크노팬들에게 높은 관심을 받고 있으며, 최근 Invite, Takaaki Itoh 등 세계적인 테크노 아티스트의 믹스를 소개하여 조회수 1만을 달성하는 등 큰 사랑을 받으며 성장하는 중이다. 또한, 인스타그램 계정을 통해 SCOPÁVIK Daily Techno 라는 타이틀로 언더그라운드 테크노 트랙들을 소개하여 테크노를 쉽고 빠르게 접할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 있다.

SCOPÁVIK is a techno crew in Seoul, run by Scøpe, Pano and Vofrol, which administers a podcast series, introducing a variety of techno mixes from all over the world. Scopavik has been loved not only by Korean fans but those from Europe by regularly updating quality mixes, and is now on its rapid growth with notable achievements including 10K plays of world-level techno artists such as Invite, Takaaki, Itoh and etc., that SCOPÁVIK introduced to techno fans. Via its Instagram account under the title of ‘SCOPÁVIK Daily Techno’, SCOPÁVIK is continually providing opportunity to easily and promptly access and enjoy underground techno tracks.
