이미 자신만의 영역을 구축한 아티스트, starRo. 지난 5년간 온/오프라인에서의 활발한 움직임은 많은 음악팬에게 starRo라는 이름을 각인시켰다. 특히 지난해 발매된 그의 데뷔앨범 [MONDAY]는 starRo에게 다양한 플랫폼의 차트에서 순위권에 오르고, 그래미 어워드에 노미네이트되는 영광을 안겨줬다.

starRo는 Chet Faker, Little Dragon과의 글로벌 투어를 비롯해 Flume, GoldLink, Anderson Paak, Toro Y Moi, Giraffage와 같은 뮤지션과 함께 무대에 서고, 다양한 패션 브랜드와 콜라보레이션을 이어왔다. 가장 최근에는 애플 뮤직의 Beats1 라디오를 통해 댄스 뮤직과 힙합, 락과 JPOP, 아이돌 음악까지 특유의 다채롭고 복잡한 사운드 구성에 영향을 준 다양한 음악을 소개하며 전세계 음악 팬에게 자신의 이름을 알렸다.
