베를린의 레이블/콜렉티브인 Staycore의 멤버인 뮌헨 출신의 Bao-Tran Tran은 동시대 음악 제작 방식을 확장하는 법을 탐구합니다. 클럽에서의 댄스 뮤직 어법과 내면 깊은 곳에서 표출되는 멜로디 사이에서, 그 경계를 모호하게 만드는 작업을 꾸준히 보여주고 있습니다. mobilegirl은 TLC, Brandy, J-Lo와 같은 아티스트들의 클래식 R&B 트랙을 복잡하게 얽혀있는 리듬을 통해 댄스플로어에 적합한 튠으로 재구성한 트랙 및 오리지널 트랙을 사운드클라우드를 통해 꾸준히 발표하고 있습니다. 베를린 씬의 새로운 탤런트로 주목받고 있는 그녀의 놀라운 셋을 경험해보세요.

A member of label/collective Staycore’s Berlin contingent, Munich-born Bao-Tran Tran has just begun to explore the expanses of contemporary music creation, making efforts to blur the lines between club-ready material and introspective melodic work in a fashion that a less-than naïve artist could easily ignore. Without an official release to her name yet, Mobilegirl has flexed on a number of classic R&B vocals, reworking the likes of TLC, Brandy and J-Lo into floor-focused jams with intricate rhythm works.

Based in Seoul, South Korea, SUBBEAT is a way of expression for our varied but common interests on subculture music. We throw the rarest but most sensational parties, especially at Cakeshop Seoul; the club became the no.1 destination in Korea for globally renowned artists. We also collect the best local talents and release their records. SUBBEAT wants to give the unique experience of underground dance music to a much wider audience while connecting dots between local scene and overseas through the internet.
