Takasi Nakajima [Indigo Aera /JP] @ Faust

Started the music production and DJ from 1994. In early 2005, he met one of the Detroit Techno finest Claude Young and formed live/dj duo “Different World”.

As teaming up Different World, he appeared in Movement 2007 at the show for the first time, and continued performing at Bunker NY, Washington DC, Pittsburgh in November 2011. The next year, he had a show in LA in March, Exhibit live set at club eleven Tokyo, Vision Tokyo, Gifu, Fukuoka in June, and based on the success of next show in san francisco, UK in october, the team finally stepped in TRESOR berlin as a headliner. In January 2013, they played at Air Tokyo along with Kevin Sanderson. In following Europe tour from March, he played on LET festival, Q day festival Amsterdam, Tresor Berlin, CECTOR 909 Skopje, ROTE SONNE Munich.

Their first production of the team “Rapture” was released on UK artist Kirk Degiorgio’s ART label in 2011. One of their exclusive / unreleased tracks “Think Twice” was licensed to Berghain resident DJ Marcel Fengler’s Berghain 05 mix compilation and that unreleased track released on Indigo Aera in March 2013.
In early 2012 Octave One commissioned them to remix their single “New Life” for 430 West Records. A track which was featured remixes by Different World & Dave Clarke & Mr Jones aka Unsubscribed. Following this remix they were commissioned to Remix KMS Recording artist Phil Agosta’s single “Carousel”. This mix impressed label head Kevin Saunderson which lead signup as artist themselves to KMS Records and their new single ‘Belle Isle’ released on KMS in July 2013.

Since the team tentatively suspend their activity with the last EP, Takasi Nakajima focused on his individual artworks embarking on his solo project release and his own label launching.
