V.O.G.U.E. PARTY XIV – WITH BYRELL THE GREAT @ CAKESHOP

13일 토요일, 13번째 보그가 돌아온다.
이번 파티는 원래 퀴어퍼레이드의 애프터파티가 되기로 했었으나,
안타깝게도 기독교 단체들의 거센 반대로 올해 퍼레이드는 진행되지 않게되었다.
하지만 파티는 계속될 것이며 우리는 이 작은 나라 어디선가 평등과 수용이 허락되는 곳이 있다는걸 증명하고싶다.

Balloom house의 본고장 New York City에서 온, Byrell The Great으로 더 잘 알려진 Byrell Johnson은 뉴욕 보그 신의 혁신자이다.
MikeQ의 Qween Beat 레이블에 참여한 음반과 스스로의 앨범으로 그의 트랙은 매번 활동적이고 신선하다는 평가를 받으며,
특히 그의 유명한 니키 미나즈와 비욘세 리믹스처럼 이번 보그파티도 최고의 턴업이 될 것이다.

이번 파티는 Finlandia Vodka의 협력으로 진행된다.

서울의 언더그라운드 씬을 이끌고있는 Cakeshop Seoul에서 v.o.g.u.e.는 당신의 신념에 관계없이 서울의 가장 핫한 그리고 가장 진보적인 LGBT night을 선사할 것이다.

‘힐’에서 벗어나 음악에 중점을 둔 v.o.g.u.e.는 항상 단조롭고 한정되어있는 서울의 퀴어 씬에 새로운 자리를 만들었으며 그날 보그를 서포트하기 위해 서울 최고의 로컬 DJ들인 Wood X, Ligrye 그리고 Shins와 함께한다.

또한 우리는 저번 파티에서도 완벽한 vogueing 공연을 보여주어 값진 밤을 선사한 프로페셔널 보그댄서 Naquan과 Cheen과 UU과Jonah를 다시 한 번 초청하였다.

We’re back for number 13! This party was originally planned as an afterparty for the Pride Parade, but unfortunately due to bigoted Christian groups, the parade will not be happening as scheduled. The party will go on however and we hope to prove that acceptance and equality can still be found in some parts of this wonderful country.

Hailing from the home of ballroom house, New York City, Byrell Johnson, better known as Byrell The Great, is an exciting innovator in the vogue scene. With releases on MikeQ’s Qween Beat label and self released albums, his sound is energetic and fresh. Known particularly for his quality remixes of artists such as Nicki Minaj and Beyonce, this night promises to be one of our most turned up yet.

This party is being sponsored by Finlandia Vodka, and together we proudly present to you, Byrell The Great.

Taking place at Seoul’s leading underground club ’Cakeshop Seoul’, v.o.g.u.e. brings together hundreds of boys and girls of all persuasions for what is Seoul’s premier and most forward thinking LGBT night.

Away from the ‘Hill’ and with a focused music policy, v.o.g.u.e. is a welcomed addition to the monotonous and limited gay nightlife scene LGBTs are subjected to in Seoul. We’ll be using some of Seoul’s best local DJs for support on the night including Wood X, Ligrye and Shins.

After their amazing performance at the last night, we will also be having vogue dancers Naquan, Cheen, UU and Jonah performing over the evening.

Whatever your orientation, come get down, get sweaty, support your scene, and let’s make this another night to remember!
