SJP0(S_Pill) is a DJ and Producer part of the label Less n Less. He holds a monthly party called Tanzabend that tries to connect Busan and Seoul promoting underground techno.

SJP0(S_Pill)는 Less n Less 레이블의 DJ / Producer 로 활동하고 있으며 서울과 부산의 교류를 위한 Tanzabend 파티를 매달 진행하여 언더그라운드 테크노를 알리고 있다.

디제이를 할 때 가장 즐거운 점은?
디제잉 자체.. 나를 찾아주는 이들과의 호흡이 잘 맞을때. 식스센스.

디제이를 시작 하게 된 계기는?
나만이 가지고있는 음악적 느낌을 표출하고 공감하고 싶었다. 친구인 Ehyun 의 도움이 많이 있었다.

해외에서 활동해 본 경험은?
있다.

한국과는 어떤 차이점이 있나?
인구는 많은 것에 비하여 문화적인 활동에 관심을 갖구 있는 사람들이 적은 것 같다.

현재 한국의 언더씬에는 어떤 변화가 있다고 생각하나?
시도는 많고 의도도 좋다. 앞으로는 정서적인 이해도 필요하다 생각된다.

본인의 음악 색깔을 간단히 정의해본다면?
Dry.

이번 골목길을 위한 믹스를 간단히 소개해본다면?
셋 전체의 흐름을 조금 뒤틀어보았다. 다이나믹하게 느껴질 수도 있도록 꾸며보았다.

프로듀싱이나 작곡활동도 하고 있는지?
하고 있다. 프로모 한두개 트랙은 있는데 아직 많이 부족하다.

요즘 가장 즐겨 듣는 트랙은?
Marco Shuttle – Sing Like a Bird (Peter Van Hoesen Remix)

언제 틀어도 지겹지않고 좋다고 생각하는 트랙은?(오래된 곡도 상관 없음)
갑자기 생각나은건 Etapp Kyle – klockworks 10 ep

SJP0 (S_Pill) 기존의 색깔과는 다른 . 그래서 새로운 이름으로 바꿨습니다.

What is your favourite aspect of DJing?
The essence of DJing… When the crowd and I understand each other. Sixth Sense.

How did you start DJing?
I wanted to express my own musical style. My friend Ehyun really helped me find my musical identity.

Have you ever performed abroad?
I have.

Did you feel a difference with Korea?
For having such a big population, very few people in Korea are actually interested in culture and arts.

Do you think there has a been an evolution in the Korean underground scene?
A lot of different people are attempting to improve the Seoul scene and they are well intentioned, but I think that there’s still a need for a deeper understanding of the music here.

What do you think is your musical color?
Dry.

Tell us about your mix for Golmokgil.
I tried to twist the whole set flow and arrange it in a way that feels more dynamic.

Do you also produce?
I do. I released one or two promo tracks, but I’m still not where I want to be as a producer.

I am trying to show a different side than the one I displayed with S_Pill. That’s why I changed my name to SJP0
